Digital Motor Electronics (DME) is a microprocessor-based system that controls ignition timing, air-fuel ratio, boost pressure, VANOS, and numerous ancillary functions.

In response to unprecedented demand, the first vehicles eligible for a DME Tune are powered by the twin-turbo N54 engine.
